I wasn’t actually ready for this silence, I had brought headphones and books to listen to, thinking that I would practically experience the path in solitude… but the choice to remain silent, present on the path, gave me so much more.I discovered a lot about myself, I had a lot of time to reflect on the emotions that were happening to me during the walk.I also made a lot of connections, if only through glances, that surely by isolating myself I would not have had.
